I have just published my Computing curriculum for 2013-2014 which you can download from here:
Mr Britland’s Computing Curriculum 2013-2014
This booklet includes 14 Computing projects, each of these projects comes with a presentation that can be used in class. The presentation is for use by the teacher and by the students and includes lots of links and videos that will help teaching and learning.
These are the presentations for my year 7 projects. I hope you find them useful.
Feel free to download and use this curriculum. If you use this booklet, its projects or ideas and would like to make a donation for its continuing development, please use the link provided. I would like to keep giving this document away for free so any donation would be amazing. Please click to be redirected to my donation page.

Hi Matt,
Great work, you don’t happen to have a SOW to go with your Computing curriculum for 2013-2014, do you? I’m desperate, my HOD is ‘otherwise engaged’ and will not be returning in Sept.
Regards.
Mark
A SoW? My scheme of work is in the booklet that accompanies these presentations. Link is in the blog post and in the previous post.
Hi Matt and thank you for your reply.
Your booklet is so good that I could easily teach from it as it stands, unfortunately, SLT do not see it this way and insist upon a SOW as a table with headings of:
#Date, #Lesson Topic, #Number of Lessons for Topic, #Lesson number, #Learning Intentions (Objectives), #Success Criteria (Learning Outcomes i.e. All, Some, A Few), #PLTS, #SEAL, #Homework, #iPad use, #Creativity, #SEND etc.
It was my error to think that all schools had to have a SOW as described above, so no doubt you can see why I was asking if you had a SOW, thank you anyway, it was worth a try.
Regards.
Mark
Hi ya,
Yeah sorry I don’t, you could probably knock one up from the learning objectives and outcomes in the booklet.
I will most likely do one in the near future. But I don’t like to specify what has to be taught it each lesson. I will give say 6 weeks to teach the project and teachers can decide what they teach in each lesson.
If you so knock something up, I would love to see it.
Good luck.
