Adobe After Effects – Possible Project for year 9
The video above was my attempt to get into After Effects again. I must say, I really enjoyed it.
I may have a couple of lessons after my album cover projects and thought I could get my students to create a video intro using After Effects.
It is quite an intimidating application, but I am confident my students could produce something pretty special.
Will blog about it in a few weeks if I am able to teach it for a couple of lessons.
I used this tutorial for help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtGrzFCXIAE
iPad – A Tour of the Hardware
Annoyingly, I forgot to mention the volume buttons or the mute/orientation lock.
They are the buttons/switch on the side.
The lock button can be managed in the settings.
The video found on my YouTube channel has been annotated accordingly.
Transfer photos and videos from the iPad to PC (Without iTunes/DropBox)
iPad Training – Gestures Video
This is a training video covering gestures on the iPad.
Blux Movie – Great new iPad/iPhone HD Video App (Video Clip Included)
I have just stumbled across a great new video App that really takes advantage of the camera on the new iPad/4s. Its called Blux Movie and allows you to capture HD video and add effects to it in real time.
The effects are pretty sweet and I can imagine there will be more coming.
Once you have captured your movie you can save it to your camera roll. This is awesome as you can go ahead and edit it in iMovie. I can imagine you can create something that looks fairly profession.
As well as saving to the camera roll you can upload to YouTube or Facebook. You can also transfer your video over WiFi.
It is free for a short period of time. If I was you I would download it now!
Have a look at the very quick video I captured using it.
